A 40 minute seawatch this afternoon produced at least 5 Storm Petrels off Dinas Dinlle. The weather was horrendous so I didn't get out of the car at all. Despite this I had the best views I've had of stromies from land, with one bird struggling to to even reach the sea off the beach! I did feel sorry for thees tiny birds though and am amazed that they can survive such extreme conditions. Not much else seen aprt form a Manxie and an Arctic Tern.
