Having heard the news about a glossy ibis at BMW/IMF I headed over there for a look. Decided it would be best to view from the bank on the way to the old hide. The ibis was playing hide and seek in the marsh and tall grass and did not come into view for about 45 mins.I first saw it briefly in flight then It was feeding in the ditches just over the fence from border pool and therefore on our side of the border. A Clwyd tick for me.
Also female hen harrier and a great egret flew into roost. Not bad for an hours birding in November .
